We’d love to meet you but because we work on antique machines in a small Brooklyn studio, we can’t safely invite guests to stop by when the presses are running. To make the ordering process convenient for everyone, we’ve moved our designs online and have crafted a system to walk you through the process of ordering your custom stationery. If you’re local, you’re welcome to stop by to pick up your order when it’s finished.
Once we receive your order, we will lay out your design and email you a pdf to review. You will have the opportunity to make changes or ask questions before we finalize the design and move on to letterpress printing. Because the press set up process is lengthy on our old machines, we don't offer letterpress printed proofs. If we get to the end of our design process and you're uneasy or unsure of how the finished prints will look, we encourage you to give us a call so we can talk through any questions you may have.
The turn around time for orders (excluding wedding invitations) is generally 2-3 weeks.
If you have a particularly tight deadline, let us know in advance so we can confirm whether we can meet it.
Wedding stationery design and printing takes longer and we encourage people to reach out 6-8 weeks before they plan to mail their wedding invitations.
We can occasionally turn around a note card order in a week (we can’t print any quicker than that) but you should reach out to us in advance before placing an order online if your deadline is less than 3 weeks.

Yes. We only have the machines to print letterpress. We do not do any foil printing. We do not do digital printing.
