Love of letter writing
February is a month filled with reminders to celebrate and express love. Is there any better way to do that than by putting pen to paper? Love letters needn’t be just for sweethearts—they're also for friends, family, and anyone who has made a positive impact on your life.

We’re noticing more frequent mentions of letter writing lately (disclaimer, this could just be that it’s a passion of ours so we look for it) and are hoping this signals a renewed interest in this analog tradition.
One of our favorite places in New York City, the Morgan Library & Museum, is hosting a “drop-in letter-writing” event Thursday, February 13th in connection with their Belle da Costa Greene exhibit. The Morgan Library is always a joy to visit if you love books, letters and paper-based literary ephemera!
We’ve recently been enjoying the new book, “Syme’s Letter Writer”, by Rachel Syme. Inspired by some of our favorite Victorian etiquette compendiums, this visual book is a fun and fascinating reference for anyone who loves letters. The illustrations by Joana Avillez are perfect!
If you’re looking to send a last minute unique gift for a letter-writing person in your life, consider our custom stationery gift certificate. This personalized gift allows your recipient to create their own set of letterpress printed stationery by selecting a style, ink color and imagery. A person who takes the time to express their thoughts in written words, should have stationery that expresses their style!

If you have the time and inclination, we hope you’ll be inspired to connect with someone special through sending a note this month!
