Pineapple Wedding Invitations

October 5, 2016

We love the classic look of these letterpress wedding invitations. There's nothing finer than rich, black ink on soft white paper. Throw in a pineapple and you've knocked it out of the park! The vintage pineapple illustration is fitting, since they symbolize a warmth, friendship and good hospitality - exactly what weddings are all about.

Greenpoint Wedding at The Glasserie

October 3, 2016

These letterpress invitations were for a wedding at the Glasserie, a former glass factory, converted to a rustic-cool venue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Little illustrations, like the Brooklyn Bridge, a taxi cab and a frosty mug of beer topped off each card, a nice counter to the formal script font. Forest green and charcoal gray ink were the perfect choice for this early fall wedding.

We love this Brooklyn Bridge illustration with the heart hovering above, and its such a sweet touch to any wedding invitations in Brooklyn.

Black Tie Wedding in Portland

September 28, 2016

Our letterpress Hudson template has gotten a lot of love this summer! We recently used it for Bryn and Matthew's black tie wedding in Portland. They love all things Portland, even the carpet at the PDX airport, so we made a custom logo based on that carpet design. It adds a cool, personal touch to their patterned envelope liner. The letterpress suite was printed in gold and black ink, with gold foil painted edges to set the invitation card apart.

We added their wedding logo to the label of the champagne bottle illustration on their Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Drinks cards.

Green Bouquet Wedding

September 26, 2016

We love the blending of modern fonts and vintage illustrations in this floral wedding invitation. Designed for a wedding in Brooklyn at the beautiful Wythe Hotel, these invites are gorgeous and cool. The oversized cards feature vintage floral bouquet, printed in a summery green. The couple's names are emphasized in that same green and a more formal font. For the envelope liner, we created a monogram, enveloped by flowers.

Black Tie Wedding in Blue at the Museum of Natural History

September 21, 2016

Kate & Michael were great to work with on their modern black tie wedding invitations. Their wedding reception was held at the Museum of Natural History in NYC, so they wanted to add a touch of fun that related to the venue, hence the dinosaur and elephant. Our Hudson template was a great design to start with, as it is a mix of classic and modern. We updated it with some bright colors in green and blue ink, with green edge painting on the invitation card.

The letterpress envelope liner for this set is so unique! Kate & Michael wanted to reference the planetarium at the museum, so we printed a vintage illustration of mapped out constellations. It's such a fun surprise when guests open these invitations.

Elegant Monogram in Navy Blue

September 19, 2016

Here's a little look at the process of printing one of letterpress invitation sets for a black tie wedding in Poughkeepsie, New York. Martha & Michael loved the formal look of our Elegant Monogram design and kept it classic with navy blue ink. Lucky for us, their initials looked great together in a monogram.

The champagne glasses were the perfect touch to their reception card. We imagine they will enjoy lots of toasts and cheers on their wedding day.

Big Red Apple NYC Wedding

September 6, 2016

We love these big apple themed invitations we printed for a wedding here in New York City! This couple really embraced all things New York for their fall wedding. Different landmarks of NYC topped all of the cards in a letterpress printed tint. The subtle silhouettes of the Statue of Liberty, a taxi and the Brooklyn Bridge added a modern touch. We also designed a red belly band with a really cute monogram, featuring their initials in script and an apple silhouette in the middle.

Destination Wedding in Portugal

August 15, 2016

We recently had the pleasure of letterpress printing wedding invitations for Joana & Jacob, a couple getting married in Portugal. They brought the inspiration of beautiful, blue and white tile work that is traditional in Portuguese architecture. We loved the idea of hinting at that in the background of the invitation, so we printed a tile design in a pale blue, behind the bright blue text. The result is very beautiful, and one of our favorite designs from our summer wedding projects.
