Post Wedding Thank You Notes

March 14, 2016

After the wedding, once you've returned from your honeymoon sun-kissed and relaxed, there's still one thing left to do for your wedding - send out thank you notes! There's nothing nicer than receiving a handwritten thank you note, especially when it's on custom, letterpress stationery. You can include your monogram, new last name or an image that relates to your invitations, like this New York City note card.

Get started on those thank you notes right away and work on them little by little. Thank anyone who attended or sent a gift, exceptional vendors and most importantly, whoever hosted your wedding. They have been with you through thick and thin, while planning this event - let them know how much you appreciate their help.

Luck of the Irish

Happy St. Patrick's Day! While we love sending and receiving Christmas cards, it's always fun to randomly get a card for another holiday. This St. Patrick's Day postcard is destined for some mailboxes this March, which will be a fun surprise. It is letterpress printed in cheerful, kelly green with a gaelic phrase on the front.

Nautical Baby Announcement

March 7, 2016

Such a sweet letterpress announcement for a summertime baby! The design features a beautiful script for the newborn's name and a vintage illustration of an ocean wave on the bottom. The set included thank you notes, as well, printed in the same dusty blue.

Stationery set for dog lovers!

March 3, 2016

Isn't this the cutest letterpress stationery set? If you and your furry friend are in need of custom note cards, look no further. These note cards were printed for a couple with a beloved dachshund. The black chevron envelope liner adds a bit of modernity to the design.

Antique Letterpress Bookmarks

February 29, 2016

We have a line of letterpress bookmarks based on antique personal objects, like a pair of scissors, perfume bottle or glove. We love using these bookmarks and they make really cute gifts for any bookworm. Typically we print them in bright, cheery colors, but we recently did some gold versions for The Metropolitan Museum of Art, here in New York.

We have these bookmarks die cut into the shape of the antique object first, and then we print them one by one on our Golding Jobber in a beautiful, copper gold ink.

These gold bookmarks are sold exclusively at the Metropolitan, although you can find the original, brightly colored ones on our online shop. If you are a bride or groom with a passion for reading, consider using these as favors for your wedding!

Staten Island Wedding

February 26, 2016

This letterpress wedding suite was custom designed for a couple getting married on Staten Island. Black and matte gold ink is one of our favorite and most popular combinations, and it looks beautiful printed on their set. A gold envelope liner adds a little luxury to the whole design. The vintage illustration of the Staten Island Ferry printed on top of the invite is a fun element, too!

Rabbit Letterpress Bookmark

February 23, 2016

We printed these sweet letterpress bookmarks celebrating the release of a book by Brooke Dierkhising called Many Ways to See the Sun. The illustrations of the rabbit and feather were originally watercolors, and they look beautiful printed in this cheerful blue.

Here's a close up of the bookmark while on press. The blue ink is so striking on the rollers and the plate, but softens a bit when printed on a warm white paper.

Nautical Save the Date

February 22, 2016

We're in the midst of working on many letterpress wedding suites right now, as these summer weddings will be here before we know it! We love the combination of a vintage map and classic script type on this nautical save the date. The map is printed in a pale dusty blue and the information in strong navy blue, with a sweet little heart to mark the location of the wedding. It's a simple design, but we think it's perfect for a summer wedding in the Hamptons!
