Each year, we enjoy the process of selecting images and collating our little 12 month calendar. The small format is perfect for a teeny office cubicle or a bulletin board in a nook at home.

Here at Sesame, we are big fans of 'the olden days'. That's not to say we don't move with the times...but we just love anything related to history, etiquette and tradition. So it's no wonder that we are glued to a certain British TV drama, set in a stately home. And it's no surprise that we were inspired to create a note card set that pays homage to English turn-of-the-century country living. Holiday season is upon us again...and we love it. No complaints here. We're busy printing bespoke social stationery for people to give as gifts and custom holiday cards for our lovely customers. All of this preparation got us thinking about the joy of gift-giving and we wanted to share a few of our products that are perfect for taking a present to the next level!

We are definitely from the camp that prefers giving gifts to receiving them and we think that part of the joy our recipients derive is from the care and attention that goes into packaging their gifts up.

You really can make the wrapping of a present just as meaningful and thoughtful as the gift itself!

It must seem like all of the birth announcements that we print are for twins! We recently worked with a lovely client, Emily, who had given birth to twins during the summer. We printed the prettiest birth announcements for her:

The matte gold looks really smart whilst those two pairs of footprints just melt our hearts. These are the real twins' footprints: it must have been a slightly messy endeavor!

The letterpress technique is perfect for this: it presses into the paperstock and really captures the idea of a tiny footstep! Emily is going to frame one of these for the wall of the nursery!

Last year, one of our clients got a couple of wonderful Christmas presents: newborn twins! We worked with her to design and print a lovely, festive birth announcement which celebrated the new arrivals:

The combination of bright red and matte silver is perfect for the holiday season and we love how the image works perfectly for the family!

Around this time of year, we are always busy printing custom holiday cards for our clients. We really enjoy getting into the spirit of the holidays, even though we still haven't even celebrated Thanksgiving!Last year we printed a really cute photo card which was designed to look like wood grain. Also known as faux bois, this technique was perfect for letterpress. We love how this card came out and think it perfectly captures the wintery theme.

Sorry we've been off the radar a little lately. We've had some exciting press in the New York Times and it's brought in lots of lovely orders in time for the holidays.The New York Times featured our spectacle notecards in their gift guide: you can read all about it here.

We have been so excited to share news with you about a lovely new line of letterpress wedding stationery that we have designed in collaboration with Lotta Jansdotter.

Lotta is a long-time friend and we've joined forces to design a gorgeous, contemporary range which links Lotta's beloved  illustrations and bright color palette with Sesame Letterpress’s luxurious letterpress printing.

Both of the designs are available in a choice of two fonts and four colors.
