Lighthouse Wreath Monogram Wedding

October 3, 2021

Congratulations to Laura and Kyle on their wedding in the Hamptons this weekend! We just love their custom monogram, marrying a floral wreath with a lighthouse. It ties all of the elements of the Hamptons together in a special way. Their set was based on our Blossoms design, with the sweet dotted border and romantic font combination. Our favorite part is the Weekend Timeline card, especially the book and cocktail illustrations for the welcome party at a library - what a unique venue!

Floral Envelope Liners

September 20, 2021

What a gorgeous detail shot of some letterpress printed envelope liners! The floral designs provide a romantic and unique touch to any wedding invitation set. Each envelope liner is printed one at a time, and then hand trimmed to fit perfectly into the envelope. A lot of care is put into these pieces, and we like to think of them as one of our signature wedding elements.

Elegant Brooklyn Wedding

September 17, 2021

The summer has flown past us, and as we were looking through all of our wedding sets, we came across this beauty! This couple chose our Elegant Monogram design and added some illustrative elements to the other pieces in the set. The black tie optional invite looks perfectly formal in navy ink, and the sailboat, Brooklyn Bridge and champagne glasses provide great contrast printed in slate blue ink. Doesn’t a sunset cruise in NYC sound such a special wedding event?

Adorable Animal Notes

September 16, 2021

This photo captures quite a grouping of animal themed notecards from this past year - lions, foxes and beetles, oh my! We love getting to print these fairly unique cards in between our wedding work. Take a look at the detail on the porcupine - the impression of the letterpress shows off each of its quills in fine detail. We’re also partial to the bright green beetle trying to crawl across the card.

Modern Maritime Wedding

September 13, 2021

The theme of this summer’s weddings seems to have been Maritime, and we never tire of printing this beautiful wave illustration. This set was for a couple getting married in Sag Harbor, so the ocean and whale elements align with their theme perfectly. The whole design was printed in slate blue ink on warm white paper in a modern font. We especially like the addition of the hydrangea on the RSVP card, as it softens the entire look.

Wedding RSVP Card with Allergies

September 9, 2021

We have been fielding questions about wording for RSVP cards lately, and one that often comes up is how to address food allergies. This response card is a good example of a simple way to allow your guests to notify you of any food allergies, so you can provide an alternate meal choice, if possible. It’s also a great example of how to ask your guests to reply to the events they will be attending, and to choose a meal option for the wedding reception.

Navy NYC Wedding

September 8, 2021

We came across this beautiful set of invitations that we created for a New York City wedding last summer. The entire set is printed in navy blue ink, giving it a formal but lighter feeling. The icons on the invitation and rsvp card are NYC landmarks, and the envelope liner is a vintage map of New York, as well. Each cards has a simple border to tie them together and frame the text. We love the last image that shows details of the imagery up close, where you can really get a sense of the letterpress impression in the warm white paper.
