A Formal San Francisco Wedding

October 23, 2015

We just love Virginia and Greg's San Francisco themed wedding invitations. We started with their letterpress printed Save the Dates in rich black and bright red ink. They wanted to pay homage to an iconic landmark, the Golden Gate Bridge, on top of the card. The combination of colors on warm white paper is striking. We even had a little fun with a cute streetcar on the envelopes!

They loved the design of the Save the Date, so we followed suit for the invitations. The Golden Gate Bridge topped this card in bright red, as well, with the elegant and simple text in black. An envelope liner, printed in silver, was just the right touch for the design. We found a vintage map of San Francisco that looked just right next to the invitation.

We love how Virginia and Greg's invitations turned out and we can't wait to do another city themed letterpress set!

Bright and Colorful Bugs & Butterflies Coaster Sets

October 19, 2015

We love these new bright, letterpress coasters featuring fun bug patterns! Insect patterns can easily seem creepy crawly, but the neon colors and little floral elements make these designs unique. These coasters, especially the black beetle, would be perfect for a Halloween party or just to brighten up your coffee table. Imagine sipping morning coffee with a beautiful yellow bee next to your mug. These coasters are available in sets of 8 with 2 of each design on our website shop.

Pale Neutral Wedding with Modern Calligraphy

September 28, 2015

Natalie and Alexander's letterpress wedding invitations are so soft and dreamy. They held a black tie wedding this summer at a beautiful Four Seasons in Westlake Village, California. They wanted the invitations to be elegant to announce their formal affair, but still have a modern, fun touch. They commissioned calligrapher, Katherine Ross of Script Merchant Calligraphy for portions of the text, which gave the whole set more character. We love the loose, modern style of Katherine's calligraphy!

We printed the letterpress invitation on warm white paper, and paired soft gray with a nude colored ink. The combination is subtle and warm, setting you up for a relaxing weekend in Southern California.

This little illustration of a manor home looks wonderful on top of their information card. It embodies the elegance of the Four Seasons resort perfectly. We absolutely love Natalie and Alex's custom wedding invitations, and we're sure that their wedding was just gorgeous.

Giraffe Baby Announcement

September 25, 2015

Isn't this letterpress baby shower invitation the sweetest? Alyssa's family and friend's threw her a shower this summer and we love the design that they chose. The gentle giraffe looks sweetly down on the text, which is clean and easy to read. Navy blue was the perfect color, as it lends a sophistication to the invitation.

The Little Church Around the Corner

September 21, 2015

Brielle and William had a wonderful rooftop wedding here in New York City at the end of the summer. They held their ceremony at a beautiful church, with the sweetest name and history - The Church Around the Corner - and their reception at a great loft in Tribeca. They wanted their letterpress invitations to be somewhat formal and elegant with a few fun touches.

It's easy to see that they love the color blue, as they paired navy printing with some softer blue envelopes. The envelopes and rounded edges of the invitation soften the set as a whole.

Brielle immediately fell in love with this beautiful, vintage illustration of a ring being slipped onto a woman's finger. Nothing could be more appropriate for a wedding!

The bride and groom wanted to pay homage to their pet parakeet, and we thought this was a sweet and subtle way! The vintage illustration tops off the response card perfectly.

Upstate Wedding at Buttermilk Falls

September 18, 2015

A few months ago, Joyce and Ben came to us to design and print their wedding invitations. We knew it was going to be a fun job, when their dog popped up to say hello during our meeting! Their wedding was held at a beautiful inn in upstate New York on the Hudson River called Buttermilk Falls.

They wanted a pop of bright color, so we paired a fluorescent blue with a more subdued charcoal ink. The colors contrast each other well, and break up the design in an interesting way. We also printed a custom envelope liner for them, featuring a road map of upstate New York, with their location resting just at the fold.

Joyce and Ben wanted to mix some fun illustrations of their beloved dog, Penny with a classic design, and we think the result is wonderful. They commissioned an artist to illustrate some scenes of Penny from one of their trips to Buttermilk Falls. We love the drawings of Penny, nose to nose with a llama, and hanging out with some chickens. It's fun, personal touches like these that make custom invitations worthwhile.

Blue Rooster Baby Announcement

September 15, 2015

We love this modern baby announcement with a proud rooster on top. The combination of fonts, and the two shades of blue seemed perfect for a baby born in the midst of summer. The envelopes were lined in a matching colbalt blue paper, for a fun bit of color popping out. We had a lot of fun designing these baby announcements. And what a great name, too!
